| Belting Industries belts are constructed with two basic components: woven endless tubular fabric and a saturant. Saturants are neoprene, urethane, EPDM, nitriles, silicone, hypalon or many others. The tubular fabric will determine if the belt will be stable (for adjustable pulleys) or semi-elastic (for fixed pulleys). The above saturants give you the flexibility to select the desired end properties in a finished belt. Each style of belting can have an impression from smooth to heavy, to give it the required co-efficient of friction for your required application. |
